[Opinions] Re: Paloma?

Paloma does mean dove, but it also means pigeon :) And that's something very hard to overcome for me. And then there's the fact that paloma is slang for dorky where I live (it is a very regional thing so nothing to worry about though, most of the Spanish speaking world does not acknowledge this meaning). That being said, I do like the sound of the it and the "dove" meaning. I wouldn't call my daughter Paloma just as I wouldn't call her any other animal name, but I can see its appeal for speakers of languages other than Spanish.
