[Facts] what nationality are these names?
Can someone help me with this? In my family tree there are 3 sisters named Almanzine, Lucrecia, and Celestia. There is German in my background. Could these names be of that nationality? They seem like unusual names to me.

Lucrecia and Celectis are Latin, which means they culd probaby have been used in any number of European countries. As for Almanzine...maybe french? A lot of French names ens in -ine, although french doesn't use the letter Z much. Hmmm. Ehat was their last name? That would probably give you a better clue.
The mother's last name was Byar or Beyer and the father's was Deeds. I think the Deeds family came to America from England. Those were the first three children. The other 9 or 10 children had more common names. I also thought Almanzine sounded French but the other two names didn't.
