[Opinions] Re: Evan, Jonathan, Ian, and Emmaline
in reply to a message by Emma Cummings
John isn't plain in the least. John is the strong, silent type. Still waters run deep. I always wanted a John for a husband or a son growing up.
In a world of Xanders, Bryces, Logans and Jaxons, John is a breath of fresh air. Both John and Mary may have been overly used in the past, but I think the newest generation needs them badly. And just think of the look on your father's face when you tell him. You won't regret it, especially if it's a mn. :-)
Brian John
Aubrey John
Graham John ("GRAY-um")
Leland John (nn Lee?)
Brendan John
Sebastian John
Christopher John
I love Emily, Emma and Emmeline* equally. Emmeline Pankhurst, along with her dds Christabel, Sylvia and Adela fought and won the vote for women, so I have a soft spot in my heart for Emmeline.
Emmeline Christabel (actually Sylvia Christabel is my favorite Pankhurst combination)
Emmeline Charlotte
Emmeline Sophie
Emmeline Frances
Emmeline Pearl
Emmeline Lucy
Emmeline Johanna (form of John!)
Emmeline Jane (ditto)
Emmeline Hannah
Emmeline Virginia
Emmeline Olivia
Do you like any?
* I strongly prefer this original spelling.
