Help[Games] Congrats Round 7.
Because I have not been getting online as much these days it may take awhile to post the rounds.
There will be 10 rounds with the last 4 being multi-generation rounds.
All births and genders have been determined using a 12-sided die.
If you want to play, each round, you must write a letter to your parents telling them about their grandchildren and how they are going. This is because I love hearing how different players chose to tell their story.
I will only accept the first 25 players and as we don't currently have 25 players you may still sign up. 17/25 positions have been filled.

Dear Dad and Mom,
I hope the weather in Florida is warm and sunny. Here we are freezing and buried under nearly a foot and a half of snow. As much as I don't like the snow, I would rather be up here then down there. Swimming in the middle of January sounds wrong to me. I'm sure the two of you are having a grand time in the retirement community. We all miss having you two up here now.
Everything on the home front is all over the place. The kids are doing good in school. Everyone is on the honor roll but Giovanna who is having trouble with several of her classes. Now that she is getting extra help in class her grades have significantly improved though.
Connor was giving us some trouble and throwing the whole "you're not my parents" thing in our face again. He dropped out of high school last year as you know but a few months ago he managed to get his GED. Talus and I are relieved. He's moved out and is now living with his girlfriend. He would come over but it's wasn't often that he would bring Hannah with him anymore.
Apparently Hannah was pregnant and scared to death about telling Talus and myself the news since they know how hard we have been on Connor in the past because of his minor drug use and run in with the law. And Hannah was scared that we might try to get custody of the baby since she is only 17 and Connor was still having a rough time.
The two of them finally sat down with us and we had a calm discussion and worked through things. We gave them our word we would not try to take their child from them, but we do want to help if we can. Connor said he wanted to be there for the baby and promised that he would try to get his act together and get a better job so he can support the baby and Hannah.

Dear Mom and Dad,
We are happy to let you know that you are great-grandparents! Shocked? We were, too, but slowly, we've gotten used to the idea, especially after holding little Addisyn Ellysabeth for the first time.
Apparently, while away at school, Jacob and his girlfriend, Ella, found out they were expecting a baby. They kept it a secret, worried that we wouldn't be fond of the idea, but finally decided to tell us over Christmas break. Good thing they did, because just a few days later, on January 2nd, little Addie came into the world. Her first name is for Jacob's father and little sister...Addisyn for Adam, who didn't get to see his first granddaughter, as well as Sara's middle name (Jacob always adored his baby sister). Ellysabeth is for Ella, and Jacob's mother, since Elisabeth was Sara's middle name.
Addie is an absolutle angel...an adorable baby girl, who is relatively quiet and has such a sunshiney personality. She's spoiled with attention, since the kids can't seem to get enough of her. Jacob and Ella have decided to get married, and have set the date for September 28th. We'll send the invitations as soon as they're ready, and we really all look forward to seeing you. Jacob can't wait for you to meet Ella and Addie. We love and miss you both very much!

Maya again! I have some very unexpected news!
Myles told Spike and I just 5 months ago that his girlfriend, Betty Jones, was pregnant! Well, obviously Spike and I were shocked!
He said he didn't tell us because he thought that we'd disapprove. We told him that although it wasn't an ideal situation, we'd never leave Betty and him to fend for themselves at a time like this. Myles was certainly relieved!
We met Betty a few months ago and she's a very nice, pretty girl. It seems her parents kicked her out when they heard about Myles and her baby. Well, Spike and I thought that seeing as it was in a sense Myles' fault that she should live with us. She moved in 6 weeks before the baby was due. Our house is certainly full now!
Well 2 months ago, Betty gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl! Her name is Valley Myah, after me. I was so honored! She's a gorgeous little girl and she's always quiet. The triplets especially love her, they always want to hold her!
Betty's a great mother and Myles and her are getting married in a few months.
Unfortunately, Betty's parents still won't talk to her. She says she is okay about it, because she has the best parents-in-law! I was so happy when she said that I was almost in tears!
Well, I should go now. Ophelia needs help with her homework.

Dear Mum,
Well here's the biggest shock. Matty came home several days ago with the news that his friend was in labor, and that the baby was his! Yup! I drove him straight to the hospital and there Britta gave birth to a beautiful daughter and refused to even look at her! I was upset with that, but Matty took her and held her and asked me if I would help him raise her. I smiled and hugged him and then held the little girl and fell in love. Matty named her Lileigha Gem, after Lilia Grace and his dog. It was sweet and I cried as he told me what he was going to name her. She's a good baby and I have done a lot with her, Matty has school and I am letting him participate in his sports as well, I always wanted another child but it was too difficult to get pregnant again after Lucy. The rest of the children? Well, they're good. Anika still misses her mum, dad, and brother. Maggie is still distant with her biological mum and sibs. The triplets are all in there own things and I swear that Kiera still feels a loss at not having Lilia with her. And finally little Lu, she is amazing and definitely the most loved little girl in the family. Everyone lets her tag along if she wants to and each one plays with her and helps with her and babysits and all that fun stuff sibs love to do. Haha.

The family is doing well. Myles is so glad to be graduating this year and I'm trying to hold on to these moments for as long as I can with him going to university next Fall. The other children are doing very well in school and in their various activities but we had the shock of our lives last week when we found out that Rina has been dating someone behinds our backs. She came to us because she thinks she might be pregnant. At only sixteen she's so young and I thought her dad and I had made it clear that these kind of relationships weren't to be a substitute for real love but she said she was dragged into it and after only one encounter her life will never be the same again. We are very proud of the fact that, unlike her mother, Rina decided to stay with us her family, tell us, and face the consequences of her actions. A baby girl will be born in a matter of months and Rina has decided to name her Mareeya Graise after her mother and me. We love her very much but after she's had the baby she's promised to finish school and perhaps even go on to college.

It has been awhile since we last talked. Pippa and I were hitting a rough patch, and I could tell that something was not quite right with her. I tried everything I could to talk to her Mum, yet I just was not succeeding. Moon and I decided that it is good she is an independent, self-sufficient woman, so I did not push her to talk to me, especially when she was gaining weight. I thought she was stress-eating, and I didn't want to make her feel any worse. Well, in reality, she was pregnant. Yes, you are now a great-grandmum. I had known that her relationship with Stone, her boyfriend, was intense, but I thought it was good for her to have someone she loved.
Roarey Falin, named after myself and Fallon, was born yesterday, and is quite small. He is only 3 and half pounds right now, because Pippy was barely in her 7th month. Although the pregnancy was a huge shock, I already love Roarey very much and am praying for his health.
Pippa feels terrible she didn't tell me sooner.. she has been very emotional the past few days. I love her regardless and we will get through this.

Sorry it's taken so long to write. We're still reeling from the shock! We hadn't seen Natalie for several months since she's been so far away at college, so we really had no idea she was pregnant. We have always raised her to be honest with us about everything, even if she thought it would make us angry, but she was still scared. One of her closest friends at school is a young woman who got pregnant at 18, and her parents completely cut her off. Natalie was afraid we would do the same. Finally, the counselor she's been seeing at school convinced her to call and tell us. Needless to say, we were shocked to find out she was expecting and doubly shocked to find out how far along she was. The very next day, she went into labor. Kleo was born a couple weeks early, but completely healthy. We're disappointed for Natalie, because this is going to make life much more challenging for her, but we're not angry. We know she was responsible and tried to protect herself, but accidents can happen to anyone, and there's no use being upset over things we can't change.
Natalie has withdrawn from school and is now at home with Kleo. She has decided to attend the community college here part-time so that she can be near her family. The baby's father, Christopher, is a very sweet young man who lives nearby and genuinely wants to be involved in his daughter's life. His parents are very upset about the baby and putting a lot of pressure on Natalie and Chris to "do the right thing" and get married. Unfortunately Merlin and I are now on rather bad terms with Chris' parents because we firmly asked them to back off and stop trying to pressure our daughter into marriage.

Dear Mom and Dad,
Wow! It's been awhile since we have seen each other, it may have been last Christmas or so. We are going to be seeing each other in a few months, you'll soon find out why. We have one less living here -- Carson and his girlfriend Alyssa have a baby girl. It was so surprising to us, and we didn't find out until a few weeks before she was due. With the two being away at college we had no idea. At first we were a little disappointed they didn't tell us but now we are supportive. The three of them live on campus and beautiful 2 month old Kayley Jordan just loves her parents. Carson decided to do the right thing - he and Alyssa are getting married! It is going to be on March 6th, 2007 at Heinz Chapel in Pittsburgh! You will soon be getting the invitation, but I figured I would tell you the news myself. Kayley was born on January 2nd, 2007 at Magee Hospital in the city. She is a beautiful vivacious baby with blonde hair and blue eyes, just like Alyssa. Every Wednesday and Thursday I go to pick up Kayley at their university, only about 40 minutes away, and she comes to stay with us for the day while her parents are at school. Alyssa's parents live much closer, only about 20 minutes, so they take care of her Monday and Tuesday. On Friday they are in class at different times so they take turns taking care of her. Once she is older she'll start going to daycare twice a week, with me one, and then with her Gramma Rose a second day. I love being a grandmother!! Since I only work part time anyways because of all the other kids, it's nice to have Kayley around!

Say hello to the newest member of the family, Tyla Ellyzabeth. Apparantly Pheonix got Annika Pregnant. We knew that they were dating but we think that it is disgusting that they would even think of doing that. Don't get me wrong, Annika is a lovely person, and Tyla is a lovely child, but we just can't get over the fact that he would disobay us. He has repeatedly said sorry, so we think he knows what he did wrong, but we are grounding him for a month. He cannot do anything (talk to his friends on the phone, msn etc) except be a loyal father to Tyla and a loyal boyfriend to Annika.

Wow, where do I begin. I just got back from the hospital after a very long night with Noa. It appears that she was pregnant and decided not to tell us. We had noticed her putting on weight but she never looked pregnant. The doctor actually told us that the way she was carrying the baby was rare because the baby was towards the back of her uterus. She started having pain yesterday afternoon so we took her to the doctor and after examining her he told us she was pregnant. We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. We rushed to the hospital and 9 hours later Dahzyle Suezy was born. Noa named her after her mother and myself. I can’t say I like the spelling of her name but she is Noa’s child and therefore I have no choice over her name. She has informed the father of the baby and unfortunately he does not want anything to do with his daughter. Sorry this is short but I need to shower and get back to the hospital.
