I like the nickname Abby, but would like a name a little bit more original than Abigail. Does anyone have any suggestions??

I also know a Gabrielle and a Barbara (Babs-> Abby) with the nn Abby, although I don't know if either are more original than Abigail.

Abelia. It's a nice little garden shrub, and could be the female form of Abel if you wanted it to be.
