I've always heard it pronounced "cue-KAH-lain" myself, so I don't think I can help you clarify it. :-)

Thanks anyway! He was the hero of an old epic, so it's likely that no one really knows how his name was pronounced.

He was the hero of an old epic that was passed down through oral history, so there almost certainly is an existing, correct pronunciation.
