I never thought about Darrell, I had no opinion on it either way. After meeting two great guys (one name Darrell, and the other mn Darrell), I realized I really like the name (nn Darry, which is also the name and nn of my favorite character in The Outsiders, a favorite book). I would not be using it to honor them, although, it may seem like that and they are not bad guys at all. I am just falling in love with name and Darry is just adorable in my eyes as a nn.

I thought of Darrell Linus, but I never thought of the L sound being too much. I really didnt think too much before posting this morning. Anyway, I was looking for suggestions? Here are some names I like, especially as mn...I want Darrell as the fn.

I like Darrell Linus.

I also like, Darrell Zachery, Darrell Elijah, and Darrell Benjamin.

Darrell and Julius sound nice together, but I don't think they looks right next to each other, if that makes sense. I like Julius.

My opinion still stands about the name Darrell and Linus, but I'm going to add that I'm against naming children after or for literary characters.

Darrell Kelly struck me as particularly cool. I really like the sound of it. Darrell Morgan, Darrell Chase, Darrell James, and Darrell Arthur all really appeal to me, too. As you know, I like both Darrell and Darry, so I won't opine too much on them.

Darrell Joshua doesn't really get me--but I really detest Joshua. Julius Luka is cool, but I can only really see it in theory. Darrell and Julius sound great together, though.

I like Darrell James as a combo. I don't personally like Darrell & Julius as brothers, simply b/c the styles seem so different to me. However, I do like Darrell & Julian and the nn Jules for Julius/Julian.
