This is the worst set of twins ever, they dont match at all.

I wouldnt call it the worst personally i think its o.k the things thta sound strange is when people do things like ( an example from a post someone once did) calling triplet soemthign like hubert, henry and hugo (something along those lines) now that doesnt sound right. But to be honest billy-joe and penelope sounds quite cute actually.

Twin names don't have to match, imo, but they shouldn't clash either. It sounds like high society meets low society; however, if the boy's given name isn't Billy-Joe and is really Wilbur Josiah or something else, it's not too bad. Also, if they use the nns Penny & Billy, the names sound cute together.

I don't think twin names should match at all. Matching twin names are horrible - it's tacky, theme-y, and immature. So, as for the sibling set, I'm find with it. As for the names for themselves, I don't care for Penelope (unflattering sounding), and I'd prefer William Joseph.

Who cares about if they match? Billy-Joe certainly is...special, but it could be an homage. I don't think these are bad enough to deserve such a hyperbolic subject line as "Worst twins ever!"

Billy-Joe is bad on it's own. I can't even understand why someone even call their kid Billy-Joe as a nickname, much less not give them something to fall back on.
Yes, they're very clashing. Penelope is a lovely name though.

I agree they don't go well together, though I've seen worse. I'm not a fan of either name at all. Billy Joe isn't formal enough, and Penelope is just silly sounding to me, plus it reminds me of "envelope" or something :-/

Yes, that's pretty bad...but at least they're not the same name, nor are they spelled in a horrible way or anything.

Nah, I've seen much worse. I agree that they don't match, but at least the names are normal (Billy-Joe is hillbillieish, though, but not from the worst end)

I dunno, it's not as bad as some of the other twin sibsets I've heard. I know a Joseph and Josephine. Now that just shold not be done. Still, Penelope and Billy-Joe is pretty bad.
