[Opinions] Re: Wesley for a girl?
in reply to a message by Guest
I'm not going to say you *can't* use Westley/Wesley on a girl, but I will say that I much, much prefer it on a boy (spelt Westley). I suppose if you want to feminize it (I'm going to be in the doghouse for changing the spelling of an historically accepted name), you could go with Wesleigh/Westleigh (since a leigh is a meadow & that's was Westley means: a west meadow) or even Weslea/Westlea or Weslee/Westlee. Of these, if I had to choose, I'd probably go with Westleigh. At the very least, if you must use Wesley (or any variation thereof) on a girl, may I suggest you use it as a mn?If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother, whom he has seen, how can he love God, whom he has not seen? 1 John 4:20
