I like these names together and I like the Margot spelling. Not everyone in the US is too stupid to pronounce it correctly.

I like them as twin names (though I prefer Pearl over Margot). I like Renee and Camille as the mn's, so I'd probably pick Pearl Renee and Margot Camille.

My friend Sophy doesn't like Margo at all, so it's to be Margot. Also her hubby insists on the 'proper' spelling.

I like Margot Danae & Pearl Renee (although Margot Danaë and Pearl Renée would be better!)

Lobelias are a type of flower (Google them, they're quite pretty). However, Lobelia is also the name of a character in The Lord of the Rings, which is probably where they heard it, although she's not a very nice character.

I personally don't like Margot and Pearl as sibling names. Margot is a form of Margaret and Margaret means Pearl. Then again maybe you knew that and that is why you are using them for twins.

Actually I do know that, but they aren't my kids. I think the mom knows, but I'm not sure. The names are pretty together, though.

I think that while Margot and Pearl look nice together, I'd go with Margo and Pearl--at least, I would if the pronunciation is MAR-go. (I think I'm alone in thinking that MAR-git is pretty.)

Do you want more names that mean the same thing? If you're going to be twinny like that, you might as well go the whole hog.

Margot, if it's a family name leave it spelled the same if it's not, I agree, I'd spell it Margo, people in America pronounce it wrong......It's sad...
