Halina is pretty, but I pronounce it as HAH-lee-nah, not he-LEE-nah. The second way is too much like Helena, and would be mistaken for creative spelling.

I've never heard this name before but its really cute. I like Hallie too, even as a full first name. I love it and I really Hallie as a nn. Halina's really pretty.

Hallie is a name too saccharine for everyday consumption. I like it about as I like Nutra-Sweet, which is to say, not at all.

Halina reminds me of Oblina from Ahhh! Real Monsters. I always liked her, so I like the name a bit. I like Hala better, though (although it sounds like "Holla," unfortunately).
