Nothing at all. "Eamonn de Valera" sounds gorgeous to me. I remember hearing Soledad O'Brien's name for the first time and thinking "Wow. What a great combo."
My family is from Ireland and I've spent time there. It's not unusual for Irish parents to give their kids Spanish names. Imelda, Consolata, Dolores -- I've heard these. Perhaps it's the Catholic connection that makes it sound natural.
