Kids don't get confused by being called multiple names. We called my little sister Ruby, Vesta, VesVes, Boo, and a million other things, and it never mixed her up--she knew (and knows) perfectly well that her name is Ruby.
Gabriella is ten million times better than Mackenzie, and Gabby is a great nickname. Bella, on the other hand, is the sound a bullfrog makes when it croaks--NOT attractive at all, IMO.
Gabriella nn Gabby is my vote. I like Gabriella Christine a lot.
