In Greek, Saura (pronounced Sabra) means lizard. It is the root for words such as dinosaur (terrible lizard), brontosaur (noisy lizard), tyranosaur (undemocratic lizard).

Hey, Pav, how do they know their mistake was a "noisy lizard"? And was T Rex undemocratic because of his supposed ferocity? Although from later reports, he was a scavenger, and would have lost a lot of teeth if he attacked something unrotten.
