I would almost prefer twin names to start with different letters, so the child can have some sense of personal identity.

Twins I know:
Susan & Sandi - my sis-in-laws
Michelle & Jennifer (age 2) - while not my favorite names, they go well together because while they are distinct names, they both had their heyday in the 60s-80s range.
Pam & Paula - girls I went to school with
Ann & Susan - they used to babysit me!
Josephine & Jenny - my great aunts. (Jenny may have been short for something Italian, I'm not sure).
Edward & Anthony - my mother's first cousins
