[Facts] Danish Names:- Holten, Sturup and Seeger
Holten maybe the same as the Swedish name Hollden but what is the meaning?
Seeger maybe related to the English Seago?
Any thoughts welcome?

Hi Mark,
Sturup is a Danish place name in southern Sweden (near Malmö)
I don't know what the suffix -rup means but it is a very common place name suffix in Denmark, southern Sweden and northern Germany.
The Stu- or Stur- part could be related to the first name Sture, but I'm not sure about that.
Regards, Satu
