I refuse to watch American Idol. A coworker and I swore never to watch it again after both Anwar and Constantine were booted.
I love Anwar's name, mostly because I loved him. Constantine's the same way, but I think Constantine James is wonderfully stately--and Constantine has nothing but good associations for me. I like the name Harold a million times more than Bo, but that's because I associate Harold with Bud Cort and Bo with a boy with a unibrow and a glass eye. Everyone else finds Harold too old-sounding, though, I suppose. Marie's a beautiful name and ought to be a first name for once, especially since Carrie's so...Carrie. Nadia's a fine name, too, as is Thomas.
None of the other names interest me. Especially not Scott, since the Scott on the show was SUCH a jerk!
