I really like it, but it's probably because I know a great Monique.

All Moniques / Monicas that I've met are crazy. I hate the name.

I love the name Monique.It is a sweet name for a child and an adult.

I too prefer Monica. I'm not fond of "-ique" names. Bad personal association.

I think Monique is cute. It's bouncy (and has the incredibly fun nickname Mique, pronunced "meek") and sweet enough for a child, but it sounds a lot more grown up than, say, Kailie, on an adult woman.
