[Opinions] Re: Doris
in reply to a message by Pink Princess
I think any "older" name can be used today (I say this even when I don't like the name, as I think they're still better, than, say, Brick or Kaycie, etc.).
Doris is odd sounding to me...like the words door and is.
The doris closed. The door is closed.
I like the name Ruby, and the combo Ruby Doris does flow, and while I don't care for Nancy (it has a weak tone to it), Nancy Doris flows somewhat, but not great.
-Lissa Hannah-
My !'s = Kipling, Barry, Mortimer, Miles, Marmaduke, Fletcher, Hiram, Maris, Blanche, Gladys, Arlette, Glenda, Juniper, Lulu
My ?'s = Pasquale, Archibald, Humphrey, Nigel, Bernard, Minna, Doris, Shirley, Cordelia, Gertrude
