I'm exactly the opposite: I love Brody, but dislike Brady! Both are pretty surname-y sounding, but I think they work fairly well as a fn. If you really like Brady, go ahead & use it! I'd been planning on naming DD Victoria since I was in Jr. High, and just b/c she was born in the middle of a Victoria naming trend didn't change my mind.
