[Opinions] Nevaeh - how would you pronounce it?
It's actually not a name I'd consider; I'm just curious. Personally I'd pronounce it ne-VY-a; am I right?

I'm actually not sure ... I'd say NEE-va (ignoring the "eh" at the end) or Nuh-vay ... I can't ever
consistently say Nuh-vay-uh like some people believe, although I guess that would, phonetically,
make sense.x Cait x

Most people that I have heard pronounce it Neh-VAY-ah. I don't know how anyone ever came up with that since it doesn't follow any rules in English (though I don't think anyone that could come up with such a horrid excuse for a name could be very educated). LOL

Lol, April . . .It's always a good idea to check your links before you post them. There aren't any pronunciations given under the Nevaeh link! This is probably because there is no standard for pronunciation: since it's a recently invented name, it's pretty much at a Choose Your Own Pronunciation phase*.*this will only be funny to people whose generation read the Choose Your Own Adventure books!

I checked the link right after I posted but I'm much too lazy to edit it. (The bus for school comes in about five minutes so I'm not going to bother hurrying now.)

I say neh-VAY-uh, but I have no idea how most little Nevaeh's are saying their names, since "aeh" isn't really pronouncable according to English ;-)_____________________________________________________________________He looks like he's had a lot of plastic surgery done, but not by a plastic surgeon." - The "Have I Got News For You" panel on David Gest ;-)Elinor! and !: Dallán and Aubrianna
