[Opinions] Nicknames for Lavender?
What would be some good nicknames for Lavender? I can't really think of any nicknames or ways to shorten this name, so I'm just curious what you can come up with. (I don't know if I'd actually use any nickname, because I like Lavender as it is, but it seems a bit pretentious for a baby or a young girl.) So, any nicknames you can come up with, including "cutesy" nicknames that you’d use for a baby.
TIA!

I like Lavender just the way it is, without a nn. Does it need one?
I think Landy or Landie would be sweet, and it seems a natural nickname rather than a contrived one.

Lally/Lallie is the one I use

Maybe Lovey or Love as a nickname would be cute.
"Lavvy" was what Lavinia was sometimes called in A Little Princess--I sort of wonder if that might have contributed to her sour nature. ;)
In seriousness, I think I like Lennie best, or possibly Lannie. Vendie and Venda, Landy or Lendy, Levvie, Leddie or Led, or Len would be other possibilities. Or Posy--since a posy is the word for either a little bouquet or for a flower.
I think Posy would be cute, and it sounds natural. Bloom and Blossom are other generic flower words. And if you wanted to get...well, flowery, there's Floret and Floweret.
Lavender's fine on its own, though. You can't go wrong with it.

I really like Posy. It's very cute, thanks for the suggestion!

That's one of the things that bugs me about the name Lavender: it naturally nicknames to Lav, like for "lavatory."
Lala and Lali ("lolly") are the only ones I can come up with. I think they're okay. Lander could happen, too, sort of humorously.
