Help[Facts] Channing doesn't mean "knowing"

Channing is in the database already. It means "a canal" in French, but the first name-from-surname is primarily English in usage.
EDIT: An alternate meaning may be "canon" in Central French. See here: http://snipurl.com/djwz.
