If they were my absolute favorite names, I wouldn't change them. (but only if they were different enough to be unique).

As long as each name was distinct enough, as in you weren't naming them August and Augusta, I don't think it's a big deal. However, if I liked Eva and Ava equally I would choose Eva to avoid the duplicate initials, but that's just me.

I'm too lazy to think of a clever signature.
