I pronounce Jean JEEN and Jeanne ZHAN...
And I only speak English.
Then again, my sister and grandmother are both named Jean. My sister goes by Jeannie, to distinguish the two.
I like both Jean and Jeanne, but would never use them both for my children, especially identical twins. Actually, I probably wouldn't use Jean, Jeannie, or Jeanne period, because I know too many of them (two in my family, one a family friend).
