[Opinions] Re: birth announcements from growing family
in reply to a message by Jae
Last week, I was so impressed by our recent troll Emma that I e-mailed my teacher, Elaine, detailing Emma's stupidity. This ultimately led to a few e-mails back and forth regarding atrocious names.Anyway, on Thursday I sent off an e-mail rant which said that I would "gouch my eyes out while screaming 'Quit [censored]ing my surname, you illiterate [censored]!" if I ever saw another Jaxon or Jaxson... Therefore:Quit [censored]ing my surname, you illiterate [censored]! And quit [censored]ing my first name, too!Ah, that feels better! :-DNow, I like:
Lucius
Broderick
Nolan
Elliott
Dominic
Rylan - I'm so-so on this, but it could grow on me
Mallory - I only like this on a boy, since the name derives from the male form of the French word meaning "unfortunate"
Donald
Cyrus
Corey - Love this for a boy
Vincente
Osman
Scott
Calvin
Vincent
Nigel
Jayson - Not a variant of Jason imo. Nope, I delude myself think of this as literally "Jay's son"Liberty
Amaya
Lillian
Skye - Prefer as a mn, I think
Hope - My sister's mn
Tara
Cheryl
Carolyn
Michelle
Hannahmarie - Prefer Hannah-Marie as a fn, or Hannah Marie as a fn/mn combo
Anita
Katia
Ruth
Crystal
Molly
June - Pity it isn't June, though
Kaylynn - Combo of Kay and Lynn. Yep *nods head over-emphatically*
Bryana - I don't see why this couldn't be used, if we use Bryan for boys. I would pronounce this BRIE-an-a instead of BREE-an-a thoughEDITS: Attempting to fix a font size problem...
