I lingered over that one too. It reminds me of a name I've seen, but I don't quite remember what it is.
Let's browse the database and see what it could be! :-D Keeping in mind that some of these would require a kre8iv pronunciation for Eylany to be a butchering of them:

I guess it could be a butchered Eleni, but Eylany looks more like eye-LAH-nee to me not eh-LEH-nee (or eh-LAY-nee). Who knows what those parents were thinking? :b
