[Opinions] Re: Take a whack at this pronunciation........
I'd have to agree. I've seen the "Chinwe" component in a lot of names with African origins so I don't think it's too weird. And I think if one tried pronouncing the name phonetically he/she would probably be pretty close. And asujakin, how do you pronounce Katharina?

"Kah-tah-ree-na" - not too hard you may think, BUT Americans just can't roll the r...so it's sounds pretty funny :)It's actually pronounced with no english accent whatsoever :DWould sound funny if a German would try to say Ryan :)I hope you get the point :)

And I can pronounce that name wonderfully! I don't americanize it, I talk goodAnd I didn't say the name was weird, all I said was that it's long, there's nothing wrong with what I said. And no, I don't americanize everything, alrihgt? And yes, I do respect where names come from. Geese.

that's what I thoughtBut...1. I've heard the German pronunciation before.
2. I know you live in Germany so I assumed the German pronunciation. And that information made all the difference. Without it I would have americanized the pronunciation.I like how you related it to a German saying Ryan. I completely get your point :)
