[Opinions] Flynn
Do you like it? And would you use it for a boy or a girl. I say it looks better for a girl because of the "Lynn" in it.

It may have the "Lynn in it", but I love it for a boy only.

I see it as a boys name, and maybe because "Lyn" is a BOYS! name.
Either way, its boy to me, I think of a boy. Whether I like it...I dont know...yes and no I guess. If used on a boy, I like it more...if used on a girl....NO

I would only use it on a boy as it's a masculine name, however I just think of Flint and phlem (sp?)
It sounds like a horses name

I dislike the sound of Flynn, and of the Fl- sound in general. However, I admit I think Flannery is pretty cool for a girl, though it hasn't made it to my favourites list yet :-p
Flynn is a great name IMO, but only for a boy. It is NMSAA for a girl.
Much better for a boy. It sounds like "fling" to me, and so I wouldn't use it, but I don't like it on a girl.

I don't care for it, as it sounds incomplete to me, and it has a surname-y feel to it. But, it's strictly a boy's name to me, as it's masculine. People can argue that Lynn was a male name first (but I don't like it for a boy - only a girl, and then as a middle name), but regardless, the -lynn element doesn't make it at all feminine.
