[Opinions] Your favourite nicknames for Regina and Olivia and a Q
Because I love nicknames (never had one, always wanted one)...
Do you prefer Reggie or Gina for my favourite name name, Regina?
Do you prefer Ollie or Livy as a nickname for Olivia? Also, I am very into names that can be used in many cultures. Do you think these names apply? What other names do you think apply?thanksETA: removing an unnessary question mark

I prefer Gina (with a hard g like in gold) for Regina, and Livia for Olivia. Ollie is for Oliver to me, and Livy is to close to Levi inmo.

I prefer Gina and Livy (Livvy). Reggie and Ollie are too masculine, especially for pretty names like Regina and Olivia.I think that these names could be used in many cultures, although not as much so as some other names. The most universal female name that I can think of is Anna. For boys, I'd say Daniel.Shannon

I prefer Gina as a nn for Regina, Reggie seems ugly to me. Ithink this sounds very 'English', not very cross-cultured imoI prefer Livy out of your choices, although I would use Livie, Livia or Liv instead. I dislike Olivia, it seems like it's uneven. I think Livy/Liv etc are cross-cultered and pretty easy to sayalice x

I like Gina for Regina and Livvy for Olivia. I think that these names work well in many cultures. Granted, they aren't as universal as other names, but I think they'd work.
