I have a friend with the same problem...Her name is Christina and she really loves Christian (Christina is the feminine form of Christian). She doesnt want to name her son after herself, but she wants to name her son Christian.

My opinion, I told her and I told you, that as a middle name, only family and friends will know the middle name (until he grows up and tells people his middle name) and if they want to think you named him after yourself, let them. Tell them you didnt, and that you just love the name, and if they dont buy it, who cares. You know why you used it, so what does it matter?
