I can't see its charm anymore as it's been sooooo overused where I live. But if it's unusual where you are, then it's an alright name.

I like it, but its sort of hard for me to say so I much prefer Deacon even if its overly religous.

I love it. A very handsome name - and I think the nn Deck would be cute for a boy and cool for a teen. DH and I have some bad personal associations or we'd probably consider it.
