I have 4 strong associations with the name Oscar/Oskar:
1. Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street.
2. Oscar Wilde
3. Oskar Schindler
4. A baby that was stolen from his pregnant mother's womb (http://archives.cnn.com/2000/US/10/05/pregnant.woman.killing.02/)
Combined these associations are too strong and numerous for me to personally use the name Oscar although I don't mind hte sound of it.

That's a horrible storey about the baby stolen from his pregnant mother's womb. It's unimaginable!
