Nicknames...This must be a fad forming where I live. There will be a horde of 30-year-old Timmy's, Patti's, and Mandy's in the work field one day. It's driving me insane! :)

Its the same where I live, Nicknames as full names are becoming very popular

QuestionThe birth announcements that you post, are they only the babies' names included in the list or the parents' as well??
vote up1
Answer...Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only list the child's first name (or perhaps double-first name), without the middle name (if there is one) with only the hospital the baby was born at (or with the midwife, etc.). On Thursday's, my paper lists the parents, so on Thursday, there may be duplications from the rest of the week, with parent's name this time around. So, to answer you question: no, those are just the children's names. I usually list, on Thursdays, parent names that caught my eye.

Thanks. I was just wondering if maybe you mixed them in, because there are so many "babies" where you live named Judy, Karen, Tim, & Melvin, etc. I thought maybe those were the parents and you just listed all the names together.
