I forgot to add something, but I didn't want to take up space with a new post.I found the name Annalise on another site, but it doesn't seem to be on this one. Is that one of those made up names or spellings? It does have Anneliese and Annelise. I would like to make sure I am pronouncing them correctly. Could you tell me please?

Anneliese is pronounced an-uh-LEESE, the same as Annalise would be pronounced. Anneliese and Annelise are German and Scandinavian names respectively. Annalise is an Anglicisation of Anneliese and Annelise, and isn't as common.:-)

In German Anneliese is pronounced AN-eh-LEEZ-eh. A lot of English speakers do say AN-uh-leece or an-uh-LEECE though.
