I know a triplet set names Nicholas (Nicky), Jonathan* (Johnny), and Julie. Their older sister is Nicole (I KNOW Nicole and Nicholas...ick!), their mother is Mary-Jane and father is Jonathan (Jon). Nicole picked Julie's name. All other names were picked by the parents.

* Actually, now that I think about it, father and son might be John with the son's nn Johnny. I want to say the full name is Jonathan, but the more I think about it, the less I am sure.
