Genevieve, heh.

Genevieve! It’s so romantic and sweet!Evelyn is nice too but it’s too overdone these days, as are the other ‘Eve’ names (except for Evelina & Eveline which haven’t caught on yet).

I like Evelyn best. The nickname Evie is so cut.

I like Evelyn okay with the British prn (EEV-lin) but not the American one (EV-uh-lin). The latter seems clunky and dated like Beverly and Deborah / Debra.Genevieve is not very appealing to me personally, but it's OK.Evelyn "EVE-lynn" > Genevieve > Evelyn "EV-uh-lynn"

I can't say no to Genevieve's elegance.I also like Evelyn, but Genevieve seems more royal.

Evelyn, definitely. A big name crush for years.I do like Genevieve too.

Evelyn is neater and tidier, has only one possible pronunciation (OK, EVVelyn, but I rate it impossible), can't be confused with any other name and as a nn, Eve is lovely. So is Jenny, but Genny looks fake.

Evelyn has four possible pronunciations.

Not where I live, mercifully.

I think both are cute, and I prefer the look of Evelyn, but out loud I prefer Genevieve- it’s glamorous and I’d be very excited to meet one.

I used to dislike Evelyn because I thought it was only pronounced like Eve with -lyn slapped at the end of it. It can be said similarly to Everett, which I like.I do not like Genevieve.

Genevieve, all the way. When said in most American accents, Evelyn is a three-syllable name with only short vowels. It has always sounded weak to my ears for this reason, and I've never liked it.

Genevieve is my preference. I love the history of the name (St. Genevieve), the look and the sound.I like Evelyn but prefer Evelina.

I like both, Evelyn though has a family association, my Nana

Evelyn. I don't like the 'jeneh' sounds at the start so much, but a prefer the ending sound in Genevieve to Evelyn
